Marjolaine sets up three activities, a science activity on dissolution, an oral language activity:
"le goûter philo" on the theme of friendship, and a written language activity: a correspondence with the class of middle-aged children next to her class

The impossible friendship between a sandman and a snowman who correspond by throwing bottles into the sea. The film will be an opportunity to tackle the notion of message and the theme of communication.
Why do we communicate? How do we communicate? With whom?
Before the 20th century, sending messages took time, but nowadays we no longer have to wait several days for a reply. Does this change anything in our relationships with others?

To think about what a message is, what allows communication between sender and receiver, each child can draw a picture for another pupil in the class and write his or her first name (sender) and the name of the classmate for whom the picture is intended (receiver).

1 Who are the main characters in the film?
A sandman and a snowman.
2 What do they do in the film?
They communicate, establishing a correspondence by sending a bottle to the sea.
3 What do they communicate with? With words?With texts?
They do not communicate with words but with elements of their environment.
The snowman sends snow, pine needles... The sandman sends sand, seaweed, shells

Maybe they are lonely?Perhaps they are looking for a friend?

The two characters decide to meet for real and cross the sea as a merchant on the sea bed.Unfortunately, their nature does not allow them to stay in the water for long: they both dissolve.

With phones, smartphones, emails but also social media (Facebook, twitter, Instagram...).
