Film commentary: Logorama
A satirical film to make children think about consumer society and the omnipresence of advertising and brands in our daily lives. All the characters and settings have been created from 2500 brands and logos of multinationals. The film mixes the genres of crime film and disaster film with a very dynamic mise-en-scène, worthy of American blockbusters. The ending, far from being a happy ending, makes you think about the future of our industrialised societies.
Logorama won the Oscar for best animated short film in 2010.
