Film commentary: I dreamt of you so much
This film is part of the collection "En sortant de l'école" produced by Tant Mieux Prod and broadcast on France 3."En sortant de l'école" is a series of short films aimed at young audiences, aimed at adapting French poems into animation.
A first series of films in 2014 proposed to introduce thirteen poems by Jacques Prévert, a second, Robert Desnos and a third, Guillaume Apollinaire. A new series of films, currently in production, will adapt poems by Paul Éluard.
The originality of this marvellous collection lies in the fact that final-year students from various French animation schools are asked to make the films. The students are free to choose the poem and the animation technique, traditional 2D animation, paper cut-outs or digital 3D.
The "En sortant de l'école" collection is a success; all the films and poems are very beautiful. Encourage this wonderful initiative; don't hesitate to buy the DVDs for your children, even the smallest ones!
