Oru Burus

What to do when the sun refuses to obey?

A dispute between a king and his sun.

Synopsis

Once upon a time there was a little king who had lost control of the sun.

Film commentary: Oru Burus

A disobedient Sun, a very original idea. Like the despot Charles V-and-three-are-eight-and-eight-are-sixteen from the film The King and the Bird (1980), the king does as he pleases and does not accept that the sun remains awake.
The final scene may bring to mind the film Journey to the Moon (1902) by Georges Méliès.
